  • Supervise the activities of the diagnostic medical sonography (DMS) staff.
  • Prepare teaching assignments and establish DMS department goals.
  • Review student success rates and implement plans to reduce withdrawals, maintaining an 80% success rate.
  • Monitor the department budget and expenditures to maintain a profitable program.
  • Coordinate educational workshops and prepare didactic instruction.
  • Maintain student grades and prepare final grades at the end of each semester.
  • Evaluate student performance regarding course objectives.
  • Coordinate clinical and didactic education for the DMS program.
  • Develop and maintain a functional curriculum and evaluate course content.
  • Perform functions of a diagnostic medical sonography instructor.Minimum Qualifications
    • Baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution.
    • Graduate of an accredited Sonography program.
    • Three (3) years of full-time experience as a registered sonographer.
    • Active RDMS registration/credential.
    • Possess appropriate credentials specific to concentrations offered (AB, OB/GYN).
    • Current license or certification as required by laws to work in the field.
    • Academic and experiential background in the DMS profession.
    • Coursework in instructional methodologies, evaluation, and assessment.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other computer skills.Compensation & Benefits
      • Hiring Range: $102,995 to $128,750
