Job Description:

A company is looking for a Registry Technician to perform administrative and clerical support for Cancer Registry functions.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with screening and case ascertainment processes
Maintain follow-up and outcome information for cancer cases in accordance with requirements
Prepare records and reports for Cancer Committee and quality reviews

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

High school graduate; associate or college degree preferred
Courses in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
Medical records experience preferred; oncology field experience is a plus
Experience with Microsoft Office preferred
ODS or ODS eligible (Former CTR) and HIM Credential (RHIT, CCS, CCA, MT) preferred but not required
