We believe that empowering our people and helping them reach their full potential is essential for the long-term success of both Lumen and our customers.Program dates: May 30 - August 8, 2025.The Main ResponsibilitiesLumen's Enterprise Operations organization is looking for a Data Analyst - Insights and Intelligence intern on our Access Delivery team. The intern will support our team in enhancing service delivery through data-driven decision-making. Your primary responsibilities will include:Data Analysis and Insights: Assist in analyzing large datasets to uncover trends and patterns. Learn to use analytical tools and techniques to interpret data and provide recommendations.Targeted Analysis: Support the team in performing precise analysis to identify specific issues and opportunities within our service delivery processes.Actionable WIP: Help translate data insights into actionable work-in-progress (WIP) items. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement these actions and monitor their impact.Service Delivery Improvement: Participate in assessing and improving service delivery processes by leveraging data intelligence. Contribute to strategies aimed at enhancing efficiency and customer satisfaction.Reporting and Visualization: Assist in creating reports and visualizations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders. Ensure that data insights are easily understandable and actionable.Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including operations, IT, and customer service, to support data-driven decisions in daily operations.Learning and Development: Stay updated with the latest trends in data analytics and intelligence. Continuously seek opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in this field.What We Look For in a CandidateProgram eligibility is contingent on the candidate's commitment of the entire 10-week program. No exceptions will be made.--- Required qualificationso Enrolled at a 4-year accredited college or university, rising senior or graduate level education status at the start of the internshipo Graduating August 2025 - May 2027o Preferred fields include bur not limited to: -Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems or Statistics.o Intern must be able to work 40 hours per week during the 10-week program (May 30 - August 8, 2025)--- Proficiency and understanding of:o MS Office Suite - Excel heavyo Data Report and Dashboard like PowerBIo Data Management experienceo Data Query experience is nice to have--- Preferred qualificationso Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze and interpret data to provide actionable insightso Experience with statistical analysis and data visualization tools is a plus.o Attention to detail and a proactive approach to learning and development.o Ability to translate technical information into non-technical termso Driven by curiosity in problem solving and willing to challenge the normo Strong problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve issues related to datao Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.o Strong organization skillso Ability to multitask while working in fast paced environmento Comfortability interacting and presenting to leadershipCompensationInternship compensation ranges depend on each individual's level of education, geographic location, and experience/qualifications aligned to the role.Hourly Based Pay Range:Min: $26.00/hourMax: $43.00/hourWhat to Expect NextAfter completion and submission of your application, you will be asked to participate in a virtual video interview.
