Job Description:
A company is looking for a Document Imaging Specialist to
perform document imaging functions for legal medical records.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, scan, and index paper documents to be filed in the
electronic health record
Assist in locating missing documentation and troubleshoot issues
with scanned records
Maintain scanning equipment and ensure the accuracy of
documentation throughout hospital systems
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
One year of relevant work experience and basic medical terminology
knowledge
Knowledge of computer systems and software used in functional
areas
Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulatory requirements
related to the role
Ability to process various forms of documentation media, including
CDs and electronic transmissions
