Job SummaryThe Prepared Foods Department Supervisor plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Prepared Foods team. This individual will be responsible for supervising and delegating tasks to team members, working closely with the Prepared Foods Trainer to train and develop a high-performance team.Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and delegate tasks to Prepared Foods team members.
• Collaborate with the Prepared Foods Trainer to develop and implement training programs that build and sustain a high-performance team.
• Assist in the training of new team members, utilizing learning checklists and training materials.
• Ensure all cases and shelves are clean, well-stocked, and properly rotated.
• Open and close the department according to established procedures.
• Ensure all necessary breaks are given to team members.
• Communicate team concerns to the Team Leader and Associate Team Leader.
• Set and achieve the highest standards of retail execution.
• Foster a positive environment of outstanding teamwork, mutual respect, and exceptional morale.
• Maintain awareness of customer flows and needs, directing team members as necessary to satisfy and delight customers.Requirements
  • 12+ months of retail experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of Prepared Foods team procedures and policies.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, motivational, team building, and customer relationship skills.
  • Product knowledge.
  • Advanced knowledge of regulatory and safety policies and procedures.
  • Proficient mathematical skills for assessing financial performance, monitoring profitability, and managing inventory.
