In this role, you will help build cutting-edge technology systems that support our lending business. You will collaborate with a team of engineers empowered to make technical decisions that directly impact the success of the business and our SoFi members.What You'll Do:

• Utilize object-oriented programming languages to build performant and scalable backend applications within a cloud-based microservice architecture.
• Shape the technical architecture of our products.
• Own and develop technical solutions for new product requirements.
• Deliver highly available and scalable services in a production environment.
• Generate ideas for new initiatives and technologies.
• Drive operational excellence in our business processes to enhance service quality.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product management, operations, and peer technical teams to deliver impactful products.
• Mentor team members and foster a learning environment within the team.
• Work with our core technology stack: Java / Kotlin / Microservices / Spring Boot / AWS / MongoDB.What You'll Need:
• Strong sense of accountability and ownership; capable of driving a project from inception to completion.
• Willingness to mentor and collaborate with others.
• Experience working in a team coding environment, refining designs together, participating in code reviews, and managing requests.
• Passionate about broadening your technical skill set, experimenting with new ideas, and teaching others.
• Desire to grow, learn, and collaborate with a team of engineers.Compensation and BenefitsThe base pay range for this role is listed below. Final base pay offer will be determined based on individual factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, and location.Pay range: $128,000.00 - $240,000.00Payment frequency: AnnualThis role is also eligible for a bonus, long term incentives and competitive benefits.
