Job SummaryThe Bakery Team Leader is a key leadership role within our Bakery department at Whole Foods Market. This position is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Bakery, including managing a team of skilled bakers and sales associates.Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership and Supervision: Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure a positive and productive work environment. Foster a culture of teamwork, mutual respect, and exceptional morale.
• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, including receiving, rotating, and stocking merchandise. Ensure proper product assortment, merchandising, and display.
• Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. Respond promptly to customer needs and questions.
• Performance Management: Evaluate team member performance, providing constructive feedback and coaching to improve skills and productivity.
• Operational Efficiency: Analyze and improve operational efficiency, including labor management, scheduling, and workflow optimization.Requirements:
  • 24+ months retail experience, including 12+ months of team leadership experience.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Food safety certification (if not already held, willing to obtain within 6 months).
