  • Job Details
  • A hospital in Washington is looking for an experienced ICU RN for a travel contract.
  • Right candidate must have 2 full years of experience.
    • Job Requirements
    • Hold an active BLS, ACLS and WA License.
    • Pending license needed to submit.
    • Temp license takes approximately 4 weeks.
      • Schedule Information
      • Orientation/education hours are not guaranteed during the first 2 weeks of your assignment.
      • Expect 25+ hours.
      • Shifts are 7a-7p or 7p-7a Self Scheduling 6 weeks at a time.
      • Weekend Requirement includes Saturdays and Sundays for day shifts, and Friday and Saturday for night shifts.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • ICU ratios 1:1 or 1:2, PCU 1:3.
        • Charge Nurse: Yes, 1 per floor.
        • Nurse Aides: 2 per floor.
        • Holidays: Rotate with permanent staff.
        • Floating may occur between all ICUs and PCU.
        • Common diagnosis/Types of patients include all critical care diagnoses.
        • Additional Notes: No Vents in PCU. PCU drips include cardizem, nitro, insulin, heparin. No Pressors.
          • Additional Details
          • COVID-19 Vaccine Required.
          • Travelers are auto enrolled in 1.75 WA state tax deduction, but can choose to re-add that back in.
          • EMR used is EPIC.
          • Floor specific orientation planned for 1 week with educator, minimum of 2 shifts.
