Join our team as a Speech Language Pathologist and help transform lives!In this role, you will be responsible for providing speech therapy support to children ages 5-21. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will collaborate with other disciplines and services, review outcomes, and modify intervention programs. Your clinical expertise and professional judgment will be vital in screening, evaluating, and planning educational programs for students with disabilities.Key Responsibilities:Promoting optimal function and engagement in meaningful activitiesProviding speech and language therapy, including evaluations and progress reportsWorking with children who have autismUsing behavior management techniquesConsulting and collaborating with parents, schoolteachers, and colleaguesRequirements:Master's Degree in Speech and Language Pathology or Communicative DisordersTSSLD certification preferredPROMPT Experience preferredWorking Conditions:Location: Onsite at our school in Downtown BrooklynMonday - Friday / 8:00am - 4:30pmSchool/Classroom SettingPhysical Requirements:Must be able to keep students safe from themselves and others and in some cases may need to implement CPI proceduresMust be able to remove oneself from potentially harmful situations and in some cases be able to lift a childRequirementsQualifications:Master's Degree in Speech and Language Pathology or Communicative DisordersTSSLD certification preferredPROMPT Experience preferredBenefitsHealth insurancePaid time offDental insurance401(k)Vision insurance401(k) matchingReferral program
