• For Ultrasound they need ARRT(S) or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
  • Job Details
  • The CT Technologist, under the direction of the Radiology Manager and the Radiologist, performs computerized Tomography procedures including procedures of an invasive nature.
  • Machine is a Toshiba Aquilon 64 slice scanner.
  • The CT Technologist positions and instructs the patient, operates various pieces of specialized equipment and determines the technical factors for exposure.
  • They must ensure correct marking/labeling of all films.
  • The CT Technologist must consistently provide safe, quality patient care.
  • They also must take call.
    • Job Requirements
    • Graduate of approved AMA school of Radiology and be a registered ARRT
    • Possess knowledge in cross sectional anatomy
    • Possession of two years diagnostic experience desirable
    • Moderate to heavy physical effort required.
    • Must apply proper body mechanics to safely transport patients and equipment
    • Ability to lift 40 pounds from floor to wheelchair or waist
    • Ability to move 40 pounds six feet
    • Ability to reach overhead holding 25 pounds
    • Ability to lift 40 pounds from wheelchair to bed level
    • Ability to pull 40 pounds from stretcher to bed
    • Ability to push 150 pound loaded stretcher 300 feet
    • Requires good stamina with flexibility and good manual dexterity, motor skills to operate delicate equipment
    • Requires computer skills
    • Demonstrates accurate judgment/decision making ability consistent with radiology knowledge and skills
    • Provides quality customer service and patient care using the standard radiology technology in accordance with established hospital policy/procedures
