  • Government contract opportunities CVICU Registered Nurse The 26 weeks is flexible to any amount a traveler can commit to over 13 weeks. Local bill rate is the same as travel rate. Travelers are expected to be available to work at least 3 holidays out of the 5 ( Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas EVE, New Year's EVE, New Year's Day. This is an AYA offer unit. If traveler does not sign in 24 hours , candidate risks loosing the offer to the first candidate that signs. Manager will call candidate after signs contract and will have 48 hours to reject candidate post interview. MUST5 HAVE MIN OF 2 YEARS EXP & TRAVEL EXPERIENCE PASS CLINICAL REVIEW TO RECIEVE AUTO OFFER - COMPACT LICENSE ACCEPTED Please indicate the WA license status : Active , in Process or no license on your profile. IF " in process status " Please provide applied date and ETA of issue date IF previous perm employees of ANY Providence affiliated facility must be separated from the health system for a min of 3 months to qualify for a travel position. All Swedish facilities honor active compact license. CVICU experience Option to flex less than 26 weeks Will accept first time travelers, Can submit with pending WA license --- PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Cardiovascular disease, Pre/post Cath Lab and IR procedures, Fresh Open Heart Surgery SPECIAL PROCEDURES: CABG, OHS, AAA, Valvular Repairs IABP, Impella, VAD's, Pacemakers, Epicardial Pacer Management CRRT/Dialysis Hemodynamic Monitoring Breathing Treatments, Chest Tube Set-up/Care, CPAP/BiPap, Trach Care, Vents High Frequency Vents, Procedure Sedation RSI - Rapid Sequence Intubation Drugs Blood/BloodProducts Administration Cardioversion / Defibrillation, Colling/Warming Obtain 12 Lead EKG ***SCREEN if no IABP or Recovery of open hearts less 12 hours post-op, need fresh open heart experience - Unit has unseasoned staff so they need strong travelers Cardiac Surgical experience is REQUIRED 4 days orientation - validated skills for some competencies SPECIAL EQUIPMENT: heath removal Vasopressors Balloon - Maquet Datascope preferred CVVH/Prismaflex - CRRT preferred ECMO not required for Travelers IMPELLA - without CVICU experience and open heart experience, as well a device or two (i.e. IABP, PrismFlex, Impella, ECMO, LVAD). preferred CERTS: ACLS, BCLS, & CRRT Prismaflex all required SKILLS: IABP, fresh open heart required staffing ratio- 1:1-2 HOUSING RESOURCES: Shift Info: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) #LI-SK1Bluebird Staffing Job ID #75659.
