qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Anacortes, Washington, 98221
About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Job Duration: Not specified Shift: 12
Hour Days Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: At least
1 year in ICU specialty License: RN License Certifications: ACLS,
BLS Must-Have: Experience in ICU, ability to interpret own
telemetry strips Job Description: - Work in a 6-bed ICU with
nurse-patient ratios of 1:3, depending on acuity - Care for
patients with conditions such as sepsis, COPD, CHF, drug overdose,
and more - Possible floating to Acute Care (full or partial
assignment) or Emergency Room (tasking or 1:1 roles) - Responsible
for monitoring and interpreting telemetry strips in the ICU and
possibly Acute Care Unit - Handle titration of drips, including
sedation, pressors, and insulin among others - Supported by a
charge nurse free of patient assignments and available 24/7
respiratory therapy - Shared nurse aids between Acute Care and ICU,
availability depends on census - Access to equipment such as heated
high flow devices, CPAP, BiPAP, and Drager ventilators Join our
