At Virginia Mason Franciscan Health Rehabilitation Hospital, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care to our patients. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a vital role in our interdisciplinary team, working closely with licensed physical therapists to deliver comprehensive rehabilitation programs.Responsibilities:

• Under the guidance of a supervising PT, you will acquire pertinent information and implement a comprehensive program using varied techniques and treatment activities.
• You will review and modify treatment in response to changing patient needs, identifying equipment and discharge needs.
• As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will be aware of patient injury/diagnosis and take all necessary precautions for observing indications and contradictions.
• You will assist patients in preparing for treatment/modality as necessary and provide treatment to diverse diagnostic populations.
• Collaborate with support personnel regarding treatment orders as directed by the supervising PT.
• Apply physical agents, therapeutic exercises, or gait-training activities as outlined by the licensed PT, progressing patients in an appropriate manner when deemed necessary.Requirements:
  • Current state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
  • Previous experience in patient care is preferred.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification.Virginia Mason Franciscan Health Rehabilitation Hospital offers a competitive salary range of $35.00 USD to $40.00 USD per hour.
