Managers utilize customer-facing sales, technical, consulting, and
commercial experience to scope, negotiate, and close Professional
Services opportunities to accelerate and de-risk the adoption of
MongoDB by our customers.As a Senior Engagement Manager, you will
be a key leader within the PS team and work cross-functionally with
the Sales, Professional Services, and Customer Success
organizations to drive professional services sales and subscription

remote role.An ideal candidate will haveA BS degree in Computer
Science, Mathematics, Engineering or equivalent professional
experience7+ years experience in the sale of Professional Services
and/or technology solutions at an enterprise software companyStrong
presentation skills: Showing the value, capabilities, and
differentiators of complex service solutions using methodologies
and service offeringsThe ability to collaborate as a part of a
larger account team to build and execute complex account strategies
and sales playsAn ability to scope and estimate projectsAbility to
travel up to 30% of the timeOther helpful skills includeExperience
with delivery of professional services (ie. Project
Manager/Consultant, Pre-Sales or Sales)General knowledge of
Databases (RDBMS, SQL, NoSQL) -Knowledge of the software
development lifecycle and associated development methodologies
(e.g. Agile, Waterfall)Knowledge of software architecture including
both cloud and on-premise technologies e.g. AWS, GCP, Kubernetes,
OpenshiftWhat you'll do at MongoDBUnderstand customers' overall
portfolio of applications and datasets, IT and business priorities
and success measures to adapt, develop and design specific digital
transformation approaches involving MongoDB technologiesHelp
transform companies by translating their use-cases, pains, and

best-in-class sales organization and work effectively as a part of
a larger team to develop account strategies and plans for the

sense of ownership, driving all deals or technical scoping from
inception to closureManage the Professional Services pipeline for
bookings and revenue forecasts for your regionExpertly articulate
the business value of professional services, talking knowledgeably
and credibly about service delivery issues, challenges, strategies,
approaches, and mitigating risksWork with our practice team to
propagate internal skills and experience through the development of
repeatable assets (estimates, proposals, SOWs, templates, tools,
case studies etc.)Work with the delivery team to transition any
agreed upon project scope and customer expectations to ensure
successful project deliveryProactively seek opportunities to
support and mentor other team members and share best practicesHave

Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and
based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience,
qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of MongoDB's
total compensation and benefits package. Other benefits for
eligible employees may include: equity, participation in the
employee stock purchase program, flexible paid time off, 20 weeks
fully-paid gender-neutral parental leave, fertility and adoption
assistance, 401(k) plan, mental health counseling, access to

benefits offerings. Please note, the base salary range listed below
and the benefits in this paragraph are only applicable to
U.S.-based candidates.MongoDB's base salary range for this role in
the U.S. is:$109,000-$215,000 USD
